As an intern or working student with us, your interest and curiosity are what we are looking for. We value team spirit, commitment and a willingness to learn new things. Depending on the position, certain previous knowledge may be helpful, but what counts most is your motivation and enjoyment of working with us. You will find the specific technical requirements in the respective job advertisement.

For final theses, you will find all relevant information on the available topics in the job portal. Together with supervisors from Schuler, you will develop your topic, which will always be linked to a current project. Your ideas will help to drive developments and improve quality standards at Schuler.

To the vacancies

As a working student, you are allowed to work up to 20 hours per week during the semester for social security reasons and up to 35 hours per week (in Erfurt: 38 hours per week) outside of the semester, i.e. during the semester break. We will discuss the exact working hours with you during your interview.

Yes, we are always happy to receive your application. We will check which specific requirements are necessary for the position and whether this is directly related to your study progress on a case-by-case basis.

Yes, it is generally possible for you to join us as a working student after your internship. You can apply for a job in another department or stay in the division you are familiar with. We will work with you to flexibly plan your next steps with us, even if there is no guarantee that we will be able to fulfill all your wishes.

Yes, you will of course receive a certificate for your records after completing your work with us.

The term Schuler Xperience covers all the ways in which you can gain valuable professional experience and achieve your academic degree together with Schuler. Schuler Xperience stands for a variety of ways in which you can develop yourself further - always with Schuler as a strong partner at your side.

Of course you will always receive a salary. It doesn't matter whether you are currently studying or working at the company.

Due to regional differences, we offer different options depending on the region in cooperation with the partner schools. During the semester or theoretical phases, you are on site at the university. During the semester break or the practical phases, you will generally work in the company.

Yes, for final theses, working student activities or internships, it doesn't matter where you study. However, if you would like to study together with Schuler, the student cooperation models offered as part of the Schuler Xperience relate exclusively to cooperation with universities of applied sciences / technical colleges. If you would like to study together with Schuler at a university, please contact us at recruiting@schulergroup.com. We will check with you individually to see what options are available.

Yes, for final theses, working student activities or internships, it doesn't matter whether you are currently studying for a Bachelor's or Master's degree. However, if you would like to study together with Schuler, the student cooperation models offered as part of the Schuler Xperience relate exclusively to Bachelor's degree programs. If you would like to complete a Master's degree program together with Schuler, please contact us at recruiting@schulergroup.com. We will check with you individually to see what options are available.

For us, it doesn't matter which semester you are currently studying in. We review each application individually and look forward to getting to know you.

We guarantee that you will complete your thesis and your practical semester with us. We will take the time to discuss with you in which departments and at which locations you can do this.

As an international company, you will find Schuler all over the world. Whether in China, Brazil or the USA, we are represented on almost every continent in the world. If you would like to spend a semester abroad, we can check the possibilities with you.

Our partner contracts do not include a takeover guarantee, but of course we are interested in keeping you at Schuler after your studies.

For your studies in the Schuler Xperience model, in some cases you will have to enroll independently at the university, in other cases enrollment will be handled directly by Schuler. We will discuss this with you in detail when we get to know each other.

All you need for your application is a current CV and your most recent certificate (A-levels; vocational baccalaureate diploma or a current overview of grades). However, you are also welcome to add other documents, such as a cover letter or certificates.
